Creative Awards Terms and Conditions


1. The Creative Awards is open ONLY to Exclusive iStock and Getty Images creative contributors.

2. Participation is free.

3. By entering the Creative Awards, participants warrant and represent (i.e., promise) that their Work is model‑released and does not defame or otherwise infringe upon any rights of others, and does not violate any law, rule, and/or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they reside. Further, participants warrant and ratify that they rely on the consent of any third party mentioned and/or represented in their Work (including, but not limited to, video, audio and/or still image of any trademarks or logos of any company or third party) and that, upon Getty Images' request, they agree to submit such authorization or authorizations for the use of such reference in a form satisfactory to Getty Images.

4. The Creative Awards winners are decided solely based on merit and there is no element of chance involved. The criteria used by the jury to Creative Awards prizes will be relevant to the brief available for the relevant Creative Awards. The chances of winning depend on the total number of valid entries received.

5. Getty Images will announce all Creative Awards winners on the landing page, under “The Winners” section and e‑mail winners within 20 days of the end of the Creative Awards submission deadline.

6. No transfer, assignment or substitution of the prize will be permitted, except by Getty Images, who may substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value, at its sole discretion.

7. Getty Images will not be liable for any damage, loss or frustration suffered by any person participating or attempting to participate in the Creative Awards.

8. Getty Images may refuse any submissions deemed, in its sole discretion, to be immoral, obscene, profane and/or not in compliance with the rules, regulations and instructions herein.

9. The use of a false name or false registration by any entrant will immediately disqualify such entrant. Getty Images reserves the right to compel any potential winner to produce document(s) proving their identity as well as model and/or photo ownership releases.

10. By participating in the Creative Awards, you grant Getty Images a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free license to publish and reproduce your Work in commercial, advertising, or promotional material in any medium without any consideration, notification or permission being required from the entrant or others for the purpose of administering, promoting, or otherwise using to publicize this Creative Awards, and Getty Images in connection with this Creative Awards.

11. Entrants agree that Getty Images shall not be liable for, and shall be preserved with respect to, any liability, loss, damage, or injury, in part or in whole, directly, or indirectly, by reason of such winner's acceptance, possession, use, or unsuccessful use of any prize. Getty Images shall not be liable for the lack of ability of any winner to accept a prize.

12. Getty Images is permitted to modify the rules for participation in the Awards at any time and without notice.

13. The entity promoting the Creative Awards (referred to as Getty Images) will be determined by Getty Images International and for all promotions iStockphoto ‑> iStockphoto LP.
